QR-bills with bank account reconciliation, TWINT integration, packing slips, PDF editor and more
With the QR-Bill for WooCommerce plugin, the QR-Bill (Switzerland) payment method is added to the checkout page of your shop. The plugin automatically creates a payment slip PDF which is attached to the confirmation email and can be downloaded by the customer. With an optional connection to your own bank account, invoices and linked WooCommerce orders can be automatically updated when corresponding incoming payments are received in the bank account.
QR-Bills and packing slips
QR-bills can be created both automatically via the WooCommerce QR-bill payment method and manually in the backend. All invoices can be viewed, downloaded, edited and created in a clear list. On the edit screen of an order, the linked invoices are also listed and invoices can be created with one click. It is possible to create QR-bills with or without a reference.
Invoices and packing slips can optionally be used for all payment methods, eliminating the need to install an additional invoice and packing slip plugin. The payment slip is only printed when the “QR-bill” payment method is used.
PDF editor
With the built-in visual PDF editor, invoice and packing slip PDFs can be freely designed without editing HTML templates. Elements can be placed within freely definable rows and columns. Depending on the element, spacing, font size, background color and borders can be adjusted.
Content can be added dynamically using tags. In addition to WooCommerce order data and invoice data, it is possible to add content from custom fields and using WordPress filter hooks.
In addition to elements for text, images, payer, beneficiary and order data, elements for Barcode and WebStamp are available to automatically insert stamps or labels at the respective positions (Barcode or WebStamp plugin required).
Automatic reconciliation with payments to the bank account
Via an API the plugin is able to retrieve bookings to your own bank account in order to update bills and orders. This is done with QR references that are created by the plugin and sent to the bank. Partial payments are also possible, the amount already paid is saved in the bill and increased accordingly. A corresponding contract is required for the connection to the bank (see requirements below). The automatic reconciliation of postings is available for all banks which support EBICS.
TWINT integration
With the TWINT integration, customers can scan the QR code on the QR-bill with the TWINT app and pay the bill directly in the app. A TWINT payment link can also be added so that QR-bills can also be paid on mobile devices with TWINT without first printing out the PDF or sending it to another device.
Widget
The payment part of the QR-bill is displayed as a widget on the order confirmation page and in e-mails.
Actions on paid bills
As soon as a bill has been paid in full, the following actions can be carried out automatically:
- The status of the linked WooCommerce order is changed. The corresponding status can be specified in the settings.
- An email is sent to the customer. The content of the email can be chosen freely and tags can be used to automatically insert content related to the invoice, booking or order (e.g. reference, amount, order number, etc.).
- An e-mail is sent to any e-mail address (e.g. admin). The content can be defined analogously to the customer e-mail. Multiple recipients can be specified.
- Custom action using WordPress actions (programming knowledge required). Using your own code, you can carry out your own actions for individual bookings or for fully paid invoices.
Reminder emails
Email templates can be created to send payment reminders both before and after a payment deadline. The email content can be created dynamically using tags.
Integrations
The plugin includes translations in German, English, French and Italian and is compatible with WPML.
Subscriptions via the plugin WooCommerce Subscriptions are also supported. With every subscription renewal, a QR payment slip is automatically sent and the subscription is reactivated after receipt of payment. Alternatively, invoices can be sent before the renewal date.
Invoices and packing slips can already be created with the plugin. However, if one of the following plugins is used to create invoices instead, the payment slip can be integrated directly into the invoice document:
- WPO WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips by WPOvernight
- SkyVerge WooCommerce Print Invoices and Packing Lists by SkyVerge
- WooCommerce PDF Invoices by Andrew Benbow
